  4. Achievement: In this final stage, we have achieved the goal of managing the tinnitus and the presence of tinnitus in life and is no longer negative. impacted by it. They may still be aware of the sound, but it no longer causes distress or interferes with daily activities.

Everyone progresses through these stages at a different pace and that’s OK. There is no set time limit for achieving tinnitus relief. The goal for everyone is to reach the Achievement stage. When this stage is reached a feeling of empowerment and control of your tinnitus is achieved and allows you to start living life without the worry of tinnitus getting in the way.
